Same ingredients – two different dinners
We started with the same ingredients:
- Fresh spinach
- Leftover steak from New Years Eve that I took from the freezer, which I heated up to take the chill off
- Feta cheese crumbles
- Jicama, chopped
- Carrots, chopped
- Cucumber
- Pomegranate seeds
When I started this meal, to me, it was a steak and spinach salad. I layered the ingredients in a bowl and topped it with balsamic vinegar and olive oil.
But TM was quick to tell me he didn’t want a salad. In his resourcefulness, he decided on a steak wrap instead, using my homemade whole wheat tortillas. He topped his with horseradish.
So, two “real food” meals that looked pretty different but started with nearly the exact same ingredients. Both tasty!
